Broccoli Blue is a magazine for young children from 1 to 5 years. It is a project developed by parents and their children FOR children and their parents. As a mother of a young child, I noticed that publications geared towards children were hard to come by. Many stores don't carry them and many families can't afford to gamble $30 on a magazine subscription sight unseen. Also, I am one who likes to grab a coffee in a coffee shop. While there are ample newspapers for me to read, my child has nothing to entertain himself.

Broccoli Blue is a free publication. It is available to families regardless of income levels and is paid for by advertising, subsciptions and donations.

Broccoli Blue is in its infancy and we hope to grow. With the Bay Area in mind, we want to give it an international flair and we also want to encourage submissions that stimulate young children. Please let us know what you think, all comments are welcome!
